If the winter has caught you on the low
And the sun ain't the same one that you know
And your mind is getting worried by the cold
And your happiness seems fading and old
Then we'll all get together again
And sit in a circle in the wind and the rain
With our friends all beside us to hold back the pain
And we'll sing to the sun, and the sun.... will come again
If the head you've held so high up to the stars
Is hurt by growing thoughts of ageing hours
And the song that we sang seems incomplete
And the dance that swayed so free just hurts your feet
Then we'll all get together again
And sit in a circle in the wind and the rain
With our friends all beside us to hold back the pain
And we'll sing to the sun, and the sun.... will come again
If you're losing track of all the hopes we had
And your dreams are turning frightening and bad
And you feel you've failed, your head is bowed in shame
Oh well don't you know, that we've all felt just the same
For the world is full of trials to overcome
And I believe that the song will sound again
And even louder when we've won
Then we'll all get together again
And sit in a circle in the wind and the rain
With our friends all beside us to hold back the pain
And we'll sing to the sun, and the sun.... will come again

Quite good songs from some new inexperienced band that I've never heard but I think they have promise though really they needed to start their career say in the mid-1970's during a time of strife & hope with clashing cultures & international conflict to help inspire the tempering of this raw talent into something folkish and joecoqueresque avec a nouveau sensibility of finger pickin' geetar and riddim&blooooozzz and glued back hair, sequins, glitter, safetypins & paperhats. A good first attempt. quangobaud

So much atmosphere conveyed by so few words. This track truly lives up to its title and not only that - this version features Steve Laurie and Pat Davey - two old muso friends from the eighties. Richard Hayward
Ben Wheeler uses an East German synthesizer and a Soviet flanger to create hauntingly weird yet bright and open electronic soundscapes. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 10, 2022

This album has stuck with my dad for the best part of 30 years, Tom's music has a timeless quality that doesn't age and stays with his fans for decades. Adam Stephens
